Surface vs. Sub-surface Penetration:

An important part of the research conducted by Leaf & Rusher^® has focused on treating both the surface and sub-surface layers of the skin. Typically, skin care products are applied only to the surface of the skin, but this addresses only a fraction of the areas of concern. In fact, 99% of those products are either removed by the environment or wiped off during the course of the day or night.
